Çağın Tan Eroğlu

I was born in İzmir, Türkiye, in 1999. In my teenage years, I became involved in politics in a country where liberal values have been declining. I've witnessed every inch of this decline throughout my high school and university years, where I started to think about how to improve it. I was involved in pro-liberty organizations in the early days of my life, such as the 3H Movement and Students for Liberty. I started law school in 2018 at one of the most prestigious universities in Türkiye, Bilkent University. During my college years, I started to work as a project coordinator for a classical-liberal think-tank based in Ankara, called Freedom Research Association. In FRA, I've coordinated several projects concerning my country's decline in civil and political liberties. After graduating from law school, I recently founded my own company, a consumer advocacy group, which focuses on lifestyle economics and the nanny state policies of Türkiye. In the meantime, I have contributed to many online news outlets as a regular commentator and write bi-weekly op-eds for online mainstream media concerning lifestyle economics.
