Luca Gattoni-Celli

Luca Gattoni-Celli is the founder of YIMBYs of Northern Virginia, a grassroots all-volunteer pro-housing advocacy organization, which has a leadership team of more than a dozen dedicated advocates. The group has received coverage from news outlets including The Washington Post, Business Insider, VICE Motherboard, and Slate. Luca lives in Alexandria, Virginia near Washington, DC with his wonderful wife and children. They enjoy visiting with friends, hiking, e-biking, and the stellar food in NoVA from around the world. Luca has published his writing about urbanism and housing advocacy in Greater Greater Washington and Southern Urbanism Quarterly and on Substack and Medium.
