Apply for Young Voices' New PR Fellowship

Are you a young professional looking to jumpstart your career in communications? Or do you know one?

Young Voices is launching a paid Public Relations Fellowship for young people on the hunt for a new job or career change. Whether you're at the beginning of your career or simply wanting a different gig in communications, we’re here to help!

This January, Young Voices' new Public Relations Fellowship is accepting three fellows who will be trained in three of our departments:

Editorial — Fellows will give a hand to our editorial team in editing and pitching the op-eds of our contributors to top-tier publications across the country.

Broadcast — Fellows will assist our public relations team in pitching out our contributors to top media outlets across the country (including radio, television, podcasts, and more).

General Programs — Fellows will help programs staff with database administration, social media, and other administrative tasks to learn the ropes of what it takes to work inside the nonprofit space. This program is flexible for the right candidate—we’re interested in what you want to know. We are looking for fellows to commit to a three to six month term. Fellows will receive a stipend of up to $2400 per month (equivalent to $15 per hour) and can work remotely.

By the end of their tenure, fellows will be fully equipped to take on a position in public relations or journalism. As the fellowship approaches an end, Young Voices' staff will utilize our broad network in the liberty sphere to help find our fellows full-time jobs.

If you think you'd be a good fit, please apply today! If not, please pass along to someone who might be.

Interested candidates should apply by Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023.
