Young Voices is hosting a reception in Washington next month to celebrate our newly launched Dissident Project, and you’re invited!
The Dissident Project provides high schools with access to informed, intelligent perspectives on how authoritarianism takes hold, what happens when it does, and what America can learn from current and former socialist states around the world. These stories are needed now more than ever.
At the reception we will be introducing our inaugural speakers' class of brave young people who fled authoritarian regimes. Our roster includes dissidents who grew up under oppressive governments in places such as Hong Kong, Venezuela, and North Korea.
Join us for an evening of mingling and testimonies from folks who care so deeply about the cause of freedom that they've given their entire lives to the fight We're proud to give them a platform.
