Happy Thanksgiving! As we enter the holiday season, I am deeply grateful for the vibrant community of supporters, partners, and writers who make Young Voices' mission of empowering thought leaders for liberty possible.
Last week, our happy hour with America's Future and the State Policy Network in New York City, held before the Atlas Network's Liberty Forum, brought together an international crowd of think tank professionals. The energy was electric! Thank you to everyone who joined us and strengthened the bonds that drive our shared vision of a more abundant and prosperous world.
What a year it's been! Over the past year, Young Voices:
- Reached a record-breaking 90.7 million viewers with over 1,900 media appearances, including written publications, TV, radio, podcasts, and speeches on major outlets like BBC, CNN, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.
- Organized 58 high school talks before 6,200 students for the Dissident Project, spreading the message of freedom from the testimonies of immigrants who escaped tyranny.
- Launched two quarterly debate series: one in Washington, DC, in partnership with the American Institute for Economic Research, and another in New York City in partnership with the streaming platform CiVL — collectively attracting over 30,000 views online in less than one month!
- Hosted 11 book events for two of our writers with recent publications: Alexandra Hudson’s The Soul of Civility and Caleb Franz’s The Conductor.
- Conducted our largest batch of policy fellowships to date, focusing on social mobility, state policy, the ongoing conflict in Israel, and the moral foundations of capitalism.
- Facilitated new career opportunities for several of our writers at organizations such as the New York Post, The Free Press, Houston Chronicle, St. Louis Dispatch, Americans for Prosperity, and the Manhattan Institute, among others.
