October Updates: Book Release Party & NextGen Debate

Friend,

Last week, Young Voices held a book release party in Washington, DC, to celebrate the launch of The Conductor: The Story of Rev. John Rankin, Abolitionism's Essential Founding Father, authored by our own Program Manager, Caleb Franz.

With more than 50 guests in attendance, Caleb expressed his gratitude to everyone who joined in celebrating this work dedicated to a central figure in American abolitionism. We are thrilled to see Caleb’s hard work honored, and we’re grateful to all who came out to show their support.

In addition to the book release, Young Voices also collaborated with the streaming platform CiVL to host our second NextGen Debate in NYC. Our live debate on who libertarians should vote for in the 2024 election drew a crowd of over 150 attendees and featured a compelling discussion between Joshua Eakle, President and Co-Founder of Project Liberal, and Sean Fitzgerald, host of the Actual Justice Warrior YouTube Channel, on where the libertarian vote should go.

Over 1.5K people tuned in live via CiVL’s streaming platform, and since then, the recording has gathered more than 12.9K views across CiVL and X. Watch it here!

There are even more events in the works, and we look forward to sharing them with you. Thank you to all our supporters for making these events possible, helping us empower civil discourse and amplify the voices of our young leaders in freedom.

Sincerely,

Casey Given
